"He's sooo liberal, he's anti-American...."

FOX (Faux) New's objective in this presidential race has been painfully clear for a while. They've been carpet bombing Barack Obama with negative stories, distortions, and smears in the run up to today's Pennsylvania primary in an attempt to skew the outcome. But how could FOX have guessed that the "liberal" media would be such willing accomplices? Check out this video from the latest episode of the game-show sensation… Continue

When 1 million Chinese start chanting "Obama, Obama, Obama..."

Here in the city of Yinchuan in northwest China on the edge of the great Gobi desert, where Marco Polo passed nearly 800 years ago on the Silk Road, I find myself watching the events back home in a curious "out-of-body" fashion. The work here is hard and the days long, made longer by my complete and utter inability to master the language. But my hosts are gracious and wonderful, the students as ardent and optimistic as any I've met.

The Clinton Persecution Complex...

In the Huffington Post, Off-The-Bus blogger Linda Hansen makes an elegant case for how the Clinton strategy of "throwing the kitchen sink" at Barack Obama in the run-up to the March 4th primaries, is a sure-fire miss. If the time has come to draw a line around the politics of personal destruction, this blog post will help you make the case and push back on those who think that another eight years of t… Continue

Follow the money...

To add to the story about the relative importance and impact Connecticut's grassroots organization has had on the Obama Presidential Campaign from the beginning and through the crucial early primary states, money (i.e., the kind of money that comes from the "bottom up" in a campaign driven by ideals and progressive change) tells a story. And nothing frames this story better than interactive tools such as those prov… Continue

Caroline Kennedy's endorsement....

There was a time, long ago when a President was able to appeal to the "better angels of our nature." As I listened to Barack Obama's speech at the close of the South Carolina primary, I'm reminded of that time before politics became the domain of cynicism, narcissism, division, and personal destruction. And in this morning's New York Times, it all comes together for me. Caroline Kennedy's eloquent call for a "President like my faContinue

Thanks for your response. I've been involved in the campaign for approx. one year. Sounds like you've been quite involved in developing the framework for various aspects of the campaign. I really like the way you've seveloped your "Connecticut for Obama" components.
I've been doing some things that I believe will be beneficial to the campaign, but some of my activities are not necessarily things that I can quantify very well.

So what will you be doing in China?
