Hi Everyone. It's that pesky little computer demon at it again -- deleted our political group last night:0(. No worries. I save hard copies of everything and have invited everyone in this network who has expressed an interest in the Democratic party, politics in general and "all things political" sign up -- again.

Let's take this opportunity to invite everyone who is interested in this group to join.

To recap two items we are working on:

Political Forums - An Open Dialogue. With Connecticut's Gubernatorial Race coming up in 2010, these forums are an opportunity for prospective candidates to come to our communities and hear from ordinary citizens what our needs are.

Grassroots Talk: Utilizing community public access radio and television in a "town meeting" approach, this is an opportunity for grassroots volunteers to come together and discuss the issues most important in our communities, and spread awareness of the issues. The first of this kind of forum will take place on March 18th in Middletown -- watch for exact showtime, station, etc.
