FYI, opponents to health care are hosting a rally to counteract what Democrats are planning starting @ 12pm. Here's a message that I received,

"Teabaggers will be protesting against the Democratic attempt to bring health care to all Americans tomorrow at noon at the Norwich office. A request has gone out to show that the teabag rant is not the only voice. Please show up for a peaceful demonstration if you can. Thanks. See you there."

I would love to be able to make it. My prayers and thoughts are with you. We need to get back to the essentials of being American. Looking out for one another - not making a profit off of others and then turning our backs on them when they need us most.

I have my own "appointment" on Thursday at 1:00. We have only a few people going, but if I can make it on Friday, too, I will.

In my opinion, this is not about Democrats or Republican ideology, this is about America. Every American, should have affordable healthcare. With so many of our citizens who are dealing with the loss of health insurance and those that have it have to pay for those without, this does not make sense. If we can create weapons, aircrafts, fly in to space, we ought to be able to take care our people. The health insurers had multiple years in which to be a key contributor to our country by holding down cost. It did not happen, now they are crying foul, at the possbility of competition, give me a break.
